Appointed Chief on June 21, 2022, a 20+ year veteran in first response, Chief Fitzgerald has served in the capacity of EMS Chief and recently as Deputy Chief, all while contributing his firefighting and Paramedic skills to the Olathe community since 2016.  His dedication to the community and its health and safety is demonstrated through the successes of the ambulance service and fire suppression provided to the residents of the Olathe area.  Chief Fitzgerald envisions a professional service with one mission in mind, to save life and property.
